WEBER SURPLUS PROJECT LOG #2!

Today we have some great info on the upcoming projects under the Weber Surplus Special Projects line! Right now there is FOUR projects I can tell you about and many more in the works I can't reveal just yet! 

1 - Mountain Flora Anoraks

These anoraks are the result of a long journey of not only finding someone who had the pattern and was available for printing. Furthermore I had to have someone with authentic mountain flora check the color and make sure it was as close as I could get it with the type of fabric and printing I was working with. Luckily both the pattern and the color checking was able to be done by one person - Contraband Concepts. Now that all the steps for production have been complete all that is left is to get these in hand and take some cool pictures to showcase how awesome they are.

2 - CAMOPEDIA x WEBER SURPLUS COLLAB

This collab has been in progress for super long time and has been the result of a lot of work on my and Camopedia's part. Through obtaining the pattern (which will be officially revealed very soon), test printing, determining which fabric is suitable, picking which products will be included, marketing and more, this has taken a lot longer than I'd have liked but I think we are in the home stretch. At the same time as the mountain flora anoraks are arriving the final samples for this project will arrive so as soon as mountain flora anorak preorder anoraks close, orders will open for this! Expect a handful of videos for the official reveal in the next weeks as well!

3 - MUSORIAN DIGITAL W/ VIVALARAR

A more recent collab in which has been slotted for the number 3 slot is the Musorian digital camo pattern designed by Vivalarar out of Australia. His idea behind the pattern was to be a new Opfor pattern for the Australian Military - to modernize training to have a distinct but effective pattern for simulated enemy combatants. I am happy to be partnering with him to be the US distributor for the pattern, as there has been much interest here in the states and this way we will hopefully save you all some money by not having to ship individually from Australia. As a really big fan of digital patterns I think this will be super cool to put to use. NOTE: stretch color might be different upon release depending on availability

4 - WEBER SURPLUS SPECIAL PROJECTS [UNNAMED WINTER WOODLAND]

The first truly original camouflage pattern designed and developed in-house by myself and my good artist friend (Rosetintedglasses.th on Instagram). The idea was to create a modern military camouflage intended to be most effective in late fall through early spring, particularly in east coast United States woodland environments. The pattern also takes inspiration from hunting camouflages such as Realtree, Natural Gear, and Predator to bring a familiar feel to it. I believe this will be a very popular pattern for the winter months both here in the US as well as other places around the world.

5 - THE FUTURE?

There are many MANY projects in progress beyond these four. If you're lucky some will be done before the end of the year but if not we have an exciting year coming up! Check out this sneak peak below...
